Lincoln Park H.S. Booster Club - March Madness Squares

Welcome to the Lincoln Park High School Booster Club's Annual March Madness Squares Pool. We're excited to host another "non-traditional" game for the Big Dance.

Everyone loves the Cinderella stories and high-stakes drama of March Madness. But we all know that one feeling: the dreaded buzzer-beater from a school you can't find on a map, and poof, there goes your bracket (and your dreams of a vacation funded by your winnings).

Fret not, my wagering friends. Our pool is not about skill; it’s 100% luck. The only "talent" required is picking a square and paying for it. The rest is up to the basketball gods.

With 63 total games paying out, you're in every game until the final buzzer!

How It Works

- Select Your Squares: Choose your spots on the grid and complete your payment.
- The Draw: Once all squares are sold, we will randomly draw the numbers.
- The Winning Combo: Each square gives you a set of numbers (one for the winning team, one for the losing team) based on the second number of the final score. Example: If TeamA beats TeamB 79–76, the winning square is Winning Team #9/Losing Team #6.

The Details

- Cost: $25 per square.
- Payouts: Every single game of the tournament pays out and will be paid within 24 hours of the completion of that round.

As with last year, we're also going to mix in some fun with specific games (announced later) where we'll offer up a restaurant gift card(s) in lieu of cash; a card(s) that is worth more than the game winning amount. You don't have to take it, especially if you're out of town, but it'll be offered.

Payout per game is as follows:

• Opening Rd. - 32 games - $10.00 per game = $320.00 total payout
• 2nd Round - 16 games - $20.00 per game = $320.00 total payout
• Sweet 16 - 8 games - $40.00 per game = $320.00 total payout
• Elite 8 - 4 games - $80.00 per game = $320.00 total payout
• Final Four - 2 games - $160.00 per game = $320.00 total payout
• Championship - 1 game - $400.00 for final game = $400.00 final payout

The Booster Club will receive 20% ($500) of the funds collected to go to its general fund which supplements the needs of the school's athletic department, teams and/or clubs.

• Members pick squares on the grid (or the commissioner can pick for them).
• Members' squares on the grid are theirs for every game in the NCAA Tournament starting with First Round (63 games total) .
• At the end of every game, we automatically compare the last digit of both teams' score is to determine a winner. The X-Axis will use the last digit from the winning team's score, and the Y-Axis will use the last digit from the loser's score.
• Each individual winner will be listed, as well as an aggregate count of how many times each contest member has won for each round, and in total.
