WURST CUP 2026

Welcome to Wurst Cup 2026, our quadrennial World Cup Challenge Pool!
This pool includes both a group and knockout stage. But it requires your diligence and attention: Once the group stage games have been completed the knockout stage pick sheet will be available, where you will fill out a bracket for the 32 teams in the field. Point breakdowns and pick deadlines can be found below in the pool rules.

• There are no restrictions on how many entries a member can have in the contest.
• Members will submit two sets of picks.
  • Before the tournament starts, members will submit their picks for the group stage. For this pick sheet, members will guess the finishing position for each country in each group.
  • When the group stage is over, members will submit their picks for the knockout stage in a standard bracket pick sheet, picking the winner for each game.
• The pick deadline for the group stage will be when the first game starts, and is currently set to June 11, 2026 at 3:00 PM ET.
• Members will receive the following points for each correct group finishing position:

  	First:	2 pts.
  	Second:	2 pts.
  	Third:	1 pt.
  	Fourth:	1 pt.

• Members will receive the following points for each correct pick in the knockout stage:

  	Round of 32:	6 pts.
  	Round of 16:	12 pts.
  	Quarter Final:	18 pts.
  	Semi Final:	24 pts.
  	Final:	32 pts.

• The tie-breaker is the total number of goals in all 31 games of the knockout round, excluding shootout goals.
